Funded by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General. Police Based Victim Services provides critical incident response, sudden death notification, crucial emotional support, information, referrals, safety planning, preparation and accompaniment to court to all victims of crime not served by Community Based Victim Services. Referrals come mainly from RCMP but self-referrals are possible.
