The adult specialized housing services program is for service recipients with diverse abilities, who have reached the age of nineteen and require extra support in their daily lives. This program is specific to individuals who are connected with Community Living British Columbia and either require a staffed residential home or community inclusion support. These services assist the service recipient with all aspects of daily living such as health, recreation, employment, volunteering, life skills and pursuing their individual goals.
Each service recipient or their family is involved with person-centered planning that is individualized for the service recipient’s specific needs.
The two specialized homes, CityView and Serenity House, are licensed under the BC Community Care and Assisted Living Act and Adult Care regulations.
